End of Novel Question

What I learned after reading this book was how hard it actually was to be in the concentration camp and what the people went through.

the significance of the woman and the flames

The lady that was shouting was a lady the Elie knew form his town. Her husband and older son were deported witha different group of people by acident and since then she has been going crazy. in the cattle car she startes shouting about seeing flames even though there is nothing.

The flames symbolize what is happeningto millions of jews and their towns. They jewish people are being discriminated against and killed. after they have been killed their bodies are cremated.

the woman representes how almost all of the people feel about what is happening. they know that if they have to go through any more they might go crazy soon.

forshadowing in night

one thing that was forsahadowing in the book was being out in the ghettos. another thing is all the rules they had and they were slowly losing rights.

Claim- The beings that lived in the Dead place were gods.

Commentary- the claim is not right beacause John proves that the gods were really men. He knows that is true becaus of the stuff he has seen on his journey through the Place of the gods.

Setting:

this story takes place in a place called Alagaesia. In the beginning it is in a Forest called the Spine and at Eragons family's farm. through the rest of the story it is all over Alagesia. This story can not take place anywhere else because of the places he travels and all the magic that is used. There is also mythical creatures like elves, dwarves and dragons.

Initial action- He talks about his wife and life.

Rising action- the paper flying out the window and him seeing the paper. He tries to get that paper. He risk his life getting it.

Climax- Tom breaks through the window and lands on the ground with glass all over.

Falling action- He decides to go to the movie with his wife.

Resolution- the paper flies out the window again and he just laughs.

in the book Eragon there is a group of people that are against the way the king was ruling the country. the were called the varden and had a constant war against the king.

A problem a character has within himself.

In the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean 2" when the kraken is attacking the ship Captain jack Sparrow gets the chance to slip away and get of the ship. As he rows away he looks back and Has to decide if he really wants to save just himself or his friends too.

why I chose my book

I chose th ebook Eldest because it is the secong book in th eeragon series and I already read Eragon. My little sister is the person that talked me into reading the Eragon series. So far I like the book. it is a good story and a good continuation of Eragon.

The Room Was Messy

Walking into the room. The first thing you notice is the massive pile of dirty clothes sitting in the middle of the floor. Garbage was thrown all over the already messy floor. The bed was a sea of blankets and pillows.

strengths and weaknesses

My strength in english are that i can right papers well if they are about something that I am interested in. The reason that I am good at them if they are about something interesting is because i have to like what im writing about. I also have to have some good things to say about the topic we are writing about. If there is nothing I really like about the topic it will be harder for me to wirte about it. Another thing is I am good at writng papers as long as they don't have to be too long. I am not great at writing long papers.

My weakness in english is getting up in front of the class. I don't like to read papers and other things i wrote to the class. when i have to stand up in front of the class and present something i get really nerveous. When that happens i sometimes start to talk really fast and try to get done as soon as possible. I prefer ot just hand in papers and projects so that I don't have to present them to the class.
